About Us

Why Llamas, and Why Glamping?

Hi, my name is Tina Gambell.  In 2012, my husband, Chris (my then fiancé) and I were seeking our “forever home” for after our marriage.  We happened upon a property in Suffolk that had outbuildings and two acres of paddocks.  We joked about how much it would cost to landscape that much land!  Chris joked that we should consider getting sheep to keep the grass down; I said: “no, no, not sheep – we should have llamas!”.

The seed was planted and within a year we had married, moved into our forever home in Norfolk, installed paddocks and purchased our first four llamas.

I joined the British Llama Society, which is the national breed society so that I could learn as much as possible about them and caring for them.  I subsequently became a Director on the board.

Llamas are such wonderful animals. I felt compelled to share the feeling of relaxation and wellbeing that I experienced whenever I am around them

Then came “Glamping with Llamas”…

Here are some images of our paddock-creating efforts.
